My Wii Age

Last night I aged 10 years! For real! We went to my brother's house for a fun game night. He has every video game imaginable and his kids have amazing hand - eye coordination. For the record, I don't.

He has this game/workout thing called Wii Fit. When you are creating your little Wii person you stand on this board and put in your vital information. It weighs you and then compiles the data that you have entered - your height, age, etc... and gives you some random balance tests. I found out that my balance is way off target and that I lean completely to the left and backwards. I lean so far to the left that I may be changing my vote come November. hee hee

Alan did it and of course his balance was perfect, his age was only 2 years off and he immediately became the 'Yoga Master'. My age came back 10 years older than I am and I really couldn't do any of the challenges. I even sucked at the hula hooping challenge and I am good at hula hoops!

If you play it a lot and your balance improves - your Wii age will improve - as will the looks of your avatar. Mine started out pretty round but she got a little bit of a waist before I gave up. I don't even like video games and I have never wanted my kids to get too involved in them - but now I totally want a Wii and Wii Fit. I think I would like that hunky virtual trainer to whip me into shape!

We ahve the Wii Fit at our house too and while you can't add in that you are preganant - which is so lame - I'm like 42!!! So don't feel too bad. The hula Hoops and Penguins is my fav! I linked you to my blog too, it's so fun to see what everyone is up to.

I love our Wii! Great work for the kids not just sitting on the couch. Although they always smoke me at tennis and bowling!

Wii Fit is SO fun! It gets on to you too when you haven't used it in awhile. Your little person is tired and yawning. My goal was 30min a day, but it has been a couple weeks now! :( My age was a year younger than I am (33). Man, doing the hula hoop for six min. gets me tired!!

We already got the wii...now, do I want my klutzy self as an avatar? We got that brain age game and I started out as an 80 year old.

Oh the Wii. That is all Chase can talk about sometimes. It's not like we don't have all the other video game devices out on the market but do you think that is enough for my kids! I have challenged Chase to find it on Ebay for super cheap and then we will get it and he has to chip in half so...fat chance of that happening for awhile so I think we are safe. Although I do have to admit it would be fun to have.
Glad you had such a great time at your brothers.

My kids are begging for this thing, I didn't realize it would declare my flabby, old, out of shape age. Hmmm, have to rethink that one. We gave the kids a wii for Christmas and I have only played baseball so far.

We have yet to join all of you in the Wii World. Maybe Santa will help us join in. Everyone says it is great. Like Kelly, we do have Brain Age for the DS, but I hear it is not the same.

I have a confession to make. Its rather embarrassing. The first time I played tennis on the Wii--my arm was totally sore the next day. We love the Wii--it has turned into quite the event when family comes over for partays.
For the record--last time I did the boxing with my fam--I kicked Aussie and two of my bro-in-laws fannies--I was the world champion--at least for the evening.
