Speaking of Church.....

I have reached the 20 pounds lost point! I am pretty excited about it even though most people who know me would not notice a difference. I made a deal with myself that 20 pounds would get a reward! So I am currently on the lookout for something very specific - and I am asking my bloggy friends for help!

A few months ago I got a fabulous pair of shoes on the Macy's sale racks. For some reason, I couldn't live without them and shelled out more than my conservative nature would normally pay for shoes. They are olive green heels with gold accents. I will go and take a picture.

Actually, I sent Courtney upstairs to take the picture and she took two - one on the bathroom floor and one on my bedroom carpet.
So, what I need help with is this: I can not find a single thing to wear with them. For my reward, I would like to buy myself a new dress or skirt or cute jacket or something with which to wear these beauties. Ladies, with all of your online shopping skills, mall shopping skills and overall fashion skills, HELP!
If you see something cute and and you think to yourself, 'this would look great with some shiny olive heels', call me!

My sister, who has more style than I do, often wears shoes that don't really "match". At first it was disconcerting, but now I realize the non-matchiness of it makes the shoes stand out more. I can't offer any real world solutions. I'd for sure screw that up. Congrats on the 20 lbs.! You are inspiring me to put down the brownies.

Send them my way - heehee - I have the perfect skirt that would go with them - the only problem is I can't find a cute shirt to match the skirt. What a quandary - let's go shopping when I come in 3 weeks!

I have no idea. Just make sure whatever you get matches...? Yeah, that would be good. :)

Congrats!! I need to follow your example! So, I'm not much for fashion, especially when it comes to what to wear to church but I think some dark wide leg jeans with a button up shirt would be cute! Courtney's quite the photographer! I love how she set them up all cute!

You are such a good girl! I have to agree w/ Kelly keep it not so matchy-matchy! But here's a great website I just found. Darling dresses for mom and daughter! Here's the link--http://www.shabbyapple.com/
Disclaimer: I haven't actually ever ordered anything from the yet, but will very soon. Good prices and they seem reasonable about returns!

Congratulations on losing 20 pounds. That is a huge accomplishment. can't say I'm any help in the shopping department as my cute mom has been buying all my clothes lately and my husband said she is doing a better job than I do. Go figure... Can't wait to see what you pick.
