Brace Face

Dr. Glauser is an awesome orthodontist. My kids love him. His office is fun - he has video games in the waiting rooms and PSP's for the kids to play while in the chairs in the back. He is funny, rides dirtbikes and has cool cars. Every time we go, we take special note of what car is parked in Dr. Glauser's spot. He has a few different ones.

I'm pretty sure I have made several of his car payments and maybe a few mortgage payments as well. We are on our third set of braces over here - I think I deserve a parking place with my name on it. As soon as we get one out of braces another one goes on.

Courtney's beautiful smile was revealed in June.

Nicole's two front teeth came in really crazy. She now sports two little brackets that will straighten them out in preparation for more braces later on.

Ah, the braces. I had them twice; my hubby had them for three or four years. Our children don't stand a chance!

Dr. Glausser is amazing...sorry you get to support his hobbies. I'm lucky that we aren't there with our kids...yet (if ever) but I feel for you - both my siblings had to get braces twice...they had to pay for their own the 2nd time around though - as adults because they didn't wear their retainers like they were supposed to and Dr. Glausser fixed their teeth too!

I could always scare Victoria with my 11 year old pre-braces/ mullet pictures. Yikes!! I had the worst teeth and Justin has naturally great ones. She fortunately got his. Cameron is soooo mine. :) My Dad told Justin that he would have to reimburse my dad 4 thousand dollars for my smile if he wanted to marry me. (I think Justin actually thought twice about it.)

oh cute litte nicole. I can't believe she's even old ehough for any braces. I still remember her as an adorable little toddler in my nursery class.

I have been waiting for the braces reveal. Wow her teeth look too tiny to have braces even fit on there. Good job Dr. G.
I know my kids need them but I cringe at the money involved. I will just have to break down one of these days and do it.
Luckily, I only had to wear braces for less than a year and Jon never had to so maybe the kids will get lucky and not have too much work needed...keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi, I found your blog on Melody's blog. When I saw your post on braces I thought "Oh the things I have to look forward to as my kids get older." Keep in touch.

WOW, what a great surprise, Jolene. We have often wondered what happened to your family.

We'd love to get together sometime - even go camping with you or cycle riding for the boys. Give us a call. We'd love to see you. I can't believe how grown up your kids are!!!

If you live close by, I'll just drop it off! I'm in Gilbert. Thanks again. Oh, and cute pictures. Whose your orthodontist? My kids are going to need one in a bad bad way!

I cannot believe how much cute little Nicole's teeth have moved already! I love Alishia's comment "from diapers to braces..",
cause then comes car insurance for them. Now that's scary!
