Because I don't want you tell me that it looks good when it really doesn't.
No, I changed my mind - I do want you to comment and tell me it looks good, even if it doesn't because then I won't try and re-do it before Monday morning and possibly break the Sabbath tomorrow.
Here are the promised pictures:
What there aren't are any pictures of me yelling or pulling my hair out. There are also are no pictures of Shannon helping me roll out and put on all of the fondant. That stuff is not as easy to work with as they make it look like on Ace of Cakes.
That is a picture of my niece and her fiancee on the top. That is what she wanted. I really hope to never do this again. I really hope it is going to be dark wherever it is displayed!

You are very Ace of Cakes to me...I am impressed. If I was not aware of the shenanigans that took to get it to its lovely stage I would've never guessed you struggled.
Okay, that is some great hidden talent you have! I'll have to remember that for years down the road. hint, hint - haha. I'm sure your niece is going to love it. It is beautiful and made with total love.
That's beautiful! Your cake = Ace of cakes totally!!
Oh my gosh!! I was expecting something where I would have to decide how to "be Nice" - there is nothing to think about - it si sooo beautiful!! I helped my mom make my cake with Fondant - and it didn't turn out nearly that good, we had all kinds of bubbles that we tried to cover with flowers and RIbbon, YOUR flower designs are amazing!!
YUM, it looks to good to eat. For not doing cakes, you really did a great job. It looks perfect!
Wow! I know how hard it is to work with fondant & I am amazed at how awesome your cake looks! Piping is super tough too! Nice work! Actually, I'm not that amazed... I already know how artistic & creative you are.
You did a fantastic job on the cake, and it looked beautiful at the wedding! Good work.
